Erthos raises $17.5 million for earth-mounted solar panels and cleaning robot

Erthos, a startup in Tempe, has devised a simple solution to the complex problem of generating cheap renewable energy: Simply put the solar panels on the ground. The young company is staffed with former leaders at First Solar, Tesla, Intel and looking to expand globally.
