Earnhardt Family Celebrates 75th Anniversary with BIG donation to the Arizona Humane Society

PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESS Newswire / March 23, 2026 / As Earnhardt Auto Centers celebrates an incredible milestone - their 75th Anniversary -- the Earnhardt Family is donating $10,000 to the Arizona Humane Society, carrying on both a company and family tradition of supporting the communities that have supported Earnhardt all of these years.

"Nearly six years ago, we lost our patriarch, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, mentor and leader," says grandson Derby Earnhardt.

"And, although we miss him, we are glad we can embrace his wish that our family continue to support our local communities", says grandson Bull Earnhardt. "In 75 years, Earnhardt Auto Centers has grown to 17 dealerships and our philanthropy efforts have grown with it."

For over seven decades, Tex and the Earnhardt Family have supported Phoenix area communities and beyond with numerous financial and in-kind donations; helping everyone from the sick and impaired to first responders, teachers, foster children and more.

"Tex wanted everyone to know -- and we agree -- that our company wouldn't be here were it not for the support of the community," says sons Hal Earnhardt III and Jim Babe Earnhardt, "So our family wants to be sure we always remember that and pay it forward".

"Our company today is based on values and sound principles that Tex instilled in all of us," says grandson Dodge Earnhardt, "and the "Spirit of Tex" is closely tied to the spirit of giving."

"This gift comes as we head into our busy summer months," said Kristina Wertz, Arizona Humane Society Corporate Giving Manager, who is coordinating the event. "With kitten season right around the corner and intake numbers climbing, it really could not come at a better time."

At 10:30am on March 24 at the Papago Park Campus in Phoenix, the Earnhardt Family will personally present the Arizona Humane Society with a check for $10,000.

"This incredible donation will make an immediate and meaningful impact for the thousands of sick, injured and abused valley pets who rely on us for care," Kristina Wertz said. "We are truly so grateful and excited that the Earnhardt family chose the Arizona Humane Society to be part of this 75th celebration."
