Ducera Partners LLC (“Ducera” or the “Firm”), a leading investment bank, today announced that Colin Adams has joined the Firm as a Partner. He will be based in Ducera’s New York office and will focus on advising clients on a broad array of capital structure and restructuring mandates.

Mr. Adams brings to Ducera more than two decades of restructuring, finance, investment and legal experience. He has led complex financial restructurings domestically and internationally as both an advisor and principal across a diverse range of industry verticals, including: telecom, media and technology; healthcare; industrials; retail and business services, among others.

Mr. Adams joins Ducera from M3 Partners, an independent advisory firm, where he was responsible for providing companies and creditors with strategic advice across a broad range of successful turnarounds and restructurings. At M3, Mr. Adams served as a c-suite leader or independent fiduciary for more than fifteen companies. Prior to M3, Mr. Adams was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley overseeing a special situations group that deployed capital in the U.S. and Europe. Earlier in his career, Mr. Adams was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he was responsible for all aspects of company representations and counseled creditors and equity sponsors in numerous restructuring situations.
