Red River, a technology transformation company specializing in AI-driven cybersecurity and IT infrastructure solutions serving government and enterprise customers, announced today the appointment of Farah Shah as Chief Legal Officer (CLO). In this role, Shah will lead all legal, ethics and compliance functions across the company and serve as a strategic legal advisor to Red River’s executive leadership and Board of Directors.

Shah brings nearly two decades of legal and compliance leadership experience across the aerospace, defense, healthcare and technology industries. She joins Red River from GE Aerospace, where she served as General Counsel for the Marine & Mobility Engines business, advising on defense contracting, FAR/DFARS compliance, international law, and intellectual property matters.

Previously, Shah was General Counsel and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at J&J Worldwide Services, where she directed all legal and compliance matters, oversaw global contracting and governance functions, and supported the company’s $800 million acquisition by CBRE. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal leadership roles with Valiant Integrated Services, and legal roles with progressive responsibility at Stryker Corporation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Supreme Group. She also spent time in private practice representing government contractors in litigation and procurement matters.

“Farah is an accomplished legal executive with deep expertise in government and commercial contracting, compliance and enterprise risk management,” said Anthony Christie, CEO of Red River. “Her experience with FAR and government procurement, combined with her ability to engage effectively with legislative and regulatory stakeholders, will be a tremendous asset as Red River continues to partner with government agencies and support ongoing FAR modernization initiatives.”

Shah earned her Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

“I am honored to join Red River at such an exciting time in its journey,” said Shah. “I look forward to working with the leadership team to support the company’s mission, uphold its values and help shape the next chapter of government procurement modernization.”
