Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"Today, we are proud to officially welcome the talented employees of C&D Trojan to the Stryten Energy team. Together, we bring decades of manufacturing expertise, innovation and customer commitment as one company,” said Mike Judd, Chief Executive Officer and President of Stryten Energy. “We intend to accelerate investments in domestic battery manufacturing capacity, advanced energy storage technologies and military production capabilities, creating a stronger company with the scale, technology portfolio and manufacturing capabilities to support growing customer demand across transportation, specialty motive, data center, telecommunications, industrial and military applications. As we begin this next chapter together, we move forward as One Company. Powering What's Possible.”

Expanding U.S. Manufacturing

Stryten expects to make strategic investments in U.S. battery manufacturing capacity, facility modernization, equipment upgrades and workforce development. These investments are intended to strengthen domestic production capabilities across advanced lead and lithium battery technologies while supporting long-term American manufacturing competitiveness.

In addition, the company plans to expand its Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) battery manufacturing capacity to meet growing demand from automotive aftermarket customers for start-stop and hybrid vehicle applications requiring high-performance batteries.

"The addition of C&D Trojan significantly expands our ability to serve the automotive aftermarket with advanced AGM battery technology. As vehicle electrification continues to evolve, AGM batteries remain a critical technology for start-stop systems, hybrid and advanced electrical loads. By expanding domestic AGM manufacturing capacity, we are strengthening our ability to provide our customers with reliable, high-performance energy storage solutions while reinforcing U.S. battery manufacturing leadership," said Judd.

Strengthening Military Production Capacity

The combination of the companies' military battery portfolios creates one of the most comprehensive domestic battery platforms supporting U.S. defense, government and national security applications. Planned investments will support the scaling of U.S.-based manufacturing capacity to meet increasing demand for batteries used in land warfare systems, air defense systems, Naval surface/undersea systems, logistics, reserve power systems, nuclear power and other essential infrastructure. The combined platform strengthens the domestic industrial base while supporting secure access to mission-critical battery technologies.
