Expanding life-saving veterinary care in Northeast Florida

Animal Emergency Hospital Palm Coast (AEHPC) is proud to announce the grand opening of its permanent, state-of-the-art facility located at 124 Flagler Plaza Drive. After serving the community for the past 18 months from a specialized on-site mobile unit during construction, the hospital has officially transitioned into its modern, full-service building to provide a higher level of life-saving care.

As the third location in a locally and independently owned network of emergency hospitals, AEHPC was designed to meet the growing need for sophisticated urgent care in Flagler County. The new facility represents a significant leap forward in regional veterinary medicine, offering advanced capabilities that were previously difficult to access after-hours.

The hospital is equipped with a comprehensive suite of diagnostic and life-support technology, including:

  • Advanced Imaging: On-site, state-of-the-art standing digital X-ray, ultrasound, and surgical C-Arm.
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU): A specialized ward for continuous monitoring of the most fragile patients.
  • Modern Surgical Suites: Featuring the latest anesthetic monitoring equipment to ensure maximum safety during emergency procedures.

“Our mission has always been to provide the highest standard of emergency and critical care to our neighbors,” said Dr. Diane Johnson, Founder and Medical Director. “Operating out of our mobile unit allowed us to serve the community immediately, but this new facility allows our exceptionally trained team to fully utilize their expertise in a space designed for critical intervention.”

The hospital’s medical team is dedicated exclusively to emergency and critical care, providing a seamless extension of services for local primary care veterinarians. AEHPC serves as a vital resource for pet owners in Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and throughout Flagler County.

Whether a pet has ingested a toxin, suffered a trauma, or is experiencing a sudden illness, the team at AEHPC is prepared to intervene with precision and compassion.

Animal Emergency Hospital Palm Coast welcomes patients on a walk-in basis Mon-Fri 4:00pm – 1:00am, Sat 2:00pm – 12:00am and Sun 12:00pm – 12:00am. For more information, please visit the website or call 386-777-7431.
