Rise Internet announced today that deployment is underway for a new state-of-the-art fiber-powered gigabit network in Texas. The company is upgrading locations across the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio metropolitan areas using Tarana G2 technology.

When this initial phase completes, Rise will be able to deliver broadband at data speeds over 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) to over 160,000 homes and businesses across Lytle, Royce City, East Bernard, Princeton, Rendon, Kaufman, Needville, Anna, Venus, Sanger and Rockwall, TX.
