Green Cay Life Plan Village, Inc., a Florida not-for-profit corporation, has begun construction of The Winsberg at Green Cay. The $380 million continuing care retirement community (CCRC) spans 15-acres, the only fully approved site remaining for development of this type in Palm Beach County, and the first new CCRC here since 2016.

Opening to first residents in fall 2028, The Winsberg campus, at Jog and Flavor Pict roads, supports active lifestyles, wellness and a continuum of care. Its 220 residences (189 independent living and 32 for assisted living and memory care) are set in a three-story, 510,000-square-foot building. Among the amenities are multiple dining options, bar and bistro, fitness center, yoga studio, salon, theater, pickle ball court, pool and spa, as well as access to the County’s neighboring Green Cay Nature Center and wetlands.

More than 70% of the one and two-bedroom independent living residences already are under contract to buyers. “The Winsberg’s design and lifestyle reflect how the Baby Boomer generation’s higher expectations are redefining senior living. Green Cay Life Plan Village, Inc. engaged Greenbrier Development LLC and BRP Senior Housing Management LLC as co-developers for the project. Greenbrier Development LLC, which also developed the Sinai Residences in Boca Raton, will manage The Winsberg. The Company has developed 35 senior living communities in the U.S. and through Greenbrier Development Consulting, provided support to more than 100 senior living communities and providers since 2006.

Fort Lauderdale-based Moss Construction is Construction Manager for The Winsberg.
