Founded by economics educator Asha Wadley in 2024, MTJT has emerged as a response to the growing demand for tutoring that goes beyond exam preparation alone. Her history spans finance through an internship at Barclays, microfinance work in Uganda, cryptocurrency startups, and years of teaching. Offering online economics and maths tutoring for GCSE, A-Level, and University students, the platform has already demonstrated strong results in its first full year of operation. In 2024, 100% of MTJT students who sat exams received A or A* grades, with an improvement of two grades to three grades on average. This speaks to the benefits of incorporating real-world examples such as inflation policy decisions, global trade dynamics, and business strategy in lessons, enabling students to connect theory with practice.
The approach aims to do more than support better academic results, however. MTJT also emphasises strong pastoral support and confidence building, working with students to develop independent thinking, resilience, and confident decision-making around their potential career paths. It helps students prepare not just for exams but everything that comes after them.
With flexible programme options to support a wide range of learning needs and schedules, including Core and Accelerated programs, MTJT extends its reach to students all across the UK. They also offer pay-as-you-go options through one-to-one or group sessions, giving students the flexible support that aligns with their goals.
