The museum will open to the general public at 2:00 p.m., followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Boulevard Mall along Maryland Parkway.
The grand opening will welcome the public, local officials, community leaders, cultural advocates, families, local organizations, and members of the Filipino American community.
Located at 3680 South Maryland Parkway, Unit 320, Las Vegas, NV, TFAM was created to preserve, celebrate, and share the stories, artistry, heritage, and contributions of Filipino Americans. The museum’s mission is inspired by the anahaw, a symbol of the Filipino spirit representing strength, resilience, beauty, resourcefulness, and optimism.
The museum is led by Rozita Villanueva Lee, President and Founder; Carl Magno, Vice President; Raquel Nerisa Bridges, Treasurer; David Tupaz, Chief Curator & Executive Director; Ron Cabildo, Director of Global Marketing and Strategic Alliances; and Atty. Vissia Calderon, Secretary.
