(Matthew Du, NewsUSA Reporter) - In the previous year, five restaurants in Atlanta have become Michelin-star holders through their prestigious ceremony. These are namely Atlas and Bacchanalia, which both boast American cuisine and one Michelin star, as well as Mujō and Hayakawa which specialize in Japanese cuisine. Meanwhile, Lazy Betty highlights contemporary cuisine which was inspired by the hospitality of the co-owners mothers.
The Chastain and Bacchanalia have also received Michelin green stars, which are awarded to restaurants recognized to be leading in terms of sustainability. With Michelin's rigorous rating system, Atlanta has proved its gastronomic excellence, and aims to further reflect the culinary diversity of the city.
