PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESS Newswire / April 13, 2026 / As Earnhardt Auto Centers celebrates an incredible milestone - their 75th Anniversary - the Earnhardt Family is donating $75,000 to Ava's Treehouse, a respite and resource center administered by the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. This is another - in a series of surprise donations - made to area charities to both celebrate the company's milestone anniversary and commemorate the late Tex Earnhardt (founder of the famous auto group).
"Tex was our mentor as well as father, grandfather and patriarch," says granddaughter Nature Earnhardt. "In his spirit, we're carrying on a company tradition and family tradition of supporting the communities around us!"
"This donation really is a big surprise," says Andrea Smith of the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. "And it will bring joy to sick children and comfort to their families, addressing social, emotional and financial needs."
At 10 a.m. on April 14, 2026, at Ava's Treehouse in Scottsdale, AZ, the Earnhardt Family will personally present the Treehouse team with a check for $75,000.
"Our philanthropy efforts have expanded naturally as the business has grown from one dealership selling one car at a time in 1951 to 17 new car dealerships selling thousands of vehicles a month in 2026," says grandson Bull Earnhardt.
For 75 years now, the Earnhardt family have remained steadfast pillars of the community, here in the Valley of the Sun. The Earnhardt ‘commitment to community' extends far beyond the dealership lots, reaching deep into the region through consistent financial backing and hands-on contributions of both the Earnhardt Family and employees of Earnhardt Auto Centers.
From providing critical resources for first responders and educators to championing the needs of foster children and the medically vulnerable, the family's philanthropic footprint is a testament to their "No Bull" approach to community service; supporting the communities that support Earnhardt.
"Tex was always the first to remind us that our success belongs to the people who walk through our doors every day," says sons Hal Earnhardt III and Jim Babe Earnhardt. "He believed that a business is only as strong as the neighborhood it serves. For our family and company, giving back isn't just a tradition - it's a debt of gratitude we both embrace and intend to keep doing."
"When we talk about the ‘Spirit of Tex', we aren't just talking about cars," says grandson Dodge Earnhardt. "We're talking about caring for the community and carrying on our grandfather's legacy," adds grandson Derby Earnhardt.
"We are truly so grateful and excited for Ava's Treehouse to be part of this 75th celebration," Andrea Smith says. "The Earnhardt family's gift is sure to support key programs here and touch the lives of many Arizona families who are struggling to support their child with a cancer diagnosis."
