GrowDirector, a global provider of modular horticulture and greenhouse automation systems, today announced its expansion into the Latin American market through a new distribution partnership with BARBIER ASOCIADOS SAS.

The expansion marks a strategic milestone in GrowDirector's global growth, building on more than a decade of successful deployments across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The company's newly launched GrowDirector 4 PRO platform introduces a next-generation modular architecture designed to simplify automation deployment while increasing operational flexibility, reliability, and scalability.

GrowDirector’s system is based on independent wireless modules that can control different parts of the greenhouse without depending on one central controller. This makes the system easier to install, easier to expand, and more reliable because one module issue does not stop the entire operation. The platform integrates seamlessly into both new and existing greenhouse projects, allowing growers to upgrade automation capabilities without replacing legacy infrastructure — significantly reducing the need for complex wiring, costly retrofitting, and operational downtime.

Growers can start with only the functionalities they need and expand gradually over time. Communication between modules uses industrial Wi-Fi protocols, with optional cellular connectivity for remote locations. Intuitive interfaces accessible from any smartphone, tablet, or computer ensure a minimal learning curve.

"Latin America is not just a new market for us; it is a region where agriculture demands flexibility in how technology is deployed and adopted," said Dima Chernobilsky, CEO of GrowDirector. "Our modular and wireless architecture was specifically designed to solve real-world challenges while making advanced automation more accessible and cost-effective."

With initial commercial activity already underway, GrowDirector is working with a growing network of local distributors, including Verdeagua and Crear Hydroponia in Argentina, BARBIER ASOCIADOS SAS in Colombia, and Desico in Mexico. The company plans to continue expanding its regional footprint through additional partnerships, supporting applications including climate control, irrigation, fertigation, lighting, environmental monitoring, and energy management.
