This positions ACCO as Arizona’s premier single-source provider for the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and process systems throughout the state. The investment supports ACCO’s continued growth across the Southwest and addresses increasing demand for specialized mechanical and process piping systems for large-scale complex industrial projects.

Since opening in 2025, ACCO’s Peoria fabrication facility has created more than 130 jobs for United Association (UA) Local 469 and is expected to add another 15 to 20 specialized trade jobs per shift with the introduction of these high-purity products.

ACCO’s Peoria facility includes 95,000 square feet of fabrication space, including the new 10,500-square-foot high-purity environment that will support the construction of data centers and manufacturing facilities in the semiconductor and biopharmaceutical industries. In these facilities, microscopic impurities can lead to catastrophic system failures, financial losses and safety risks.

The new shop features dedicated areas for materials receiving and nonclassified clean pipe fabrication and rack assemblies, an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Class 5 (Class 100) cleanroom with vestibules, an ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom with separate vestibules, and a viewing corridor overlooking cleanroom operations.

The high-purity footprint utilizes 15 specialized workstations that will produce orbital- and TIG-welded stainless steel pipe as well as up to four fused PVDF plastic pipe stations. The addition complements the facility’s existing production of carbon steel, copper and cast-iron piping, along with multiple structural steel elements including modular skids and racking assemblies.

The new shop area includes the following capabilities:

• ISO Class 5 (Class 100) certified cleanroom
• ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) certified cleanroom
• Certified PVDF RO/DI generation system
• Certified high-purity fixed tank bulk gas argon system, purified/filtered to 0.003 micron less 0.7 PPB
• Certified high-purity bulk gas nitrogen system, purified/filtered to 0.003 micron
• 4 Orbital welding stations (Class 100) handling tubing from 1/8" (Micro) to 6"
• 6 Orbital welding stations (Class 10,000) handling tubing from 1/8" (Micro) to 6"
• 5 TIG welding stations with orbital capabilities handling tubing from 1/8" (Micro) to 6"
• 2-4 PVDF stations
• State-of-the-art tube/pipe cutting
• Tailored Facing equipment
• Viewing/Navigation station to fabricate from drawings
• Two-part Quality Control cleaning stations equipped with nitrogen for blow down, cleaning, and packaging

This addition considerably increases ACCO’s overall process piping offerings when combined with its additional shops located throughout California in Commerce, San Leandro and Vacaville, as well as in Boise, Idaho, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
