This is how the conference cycle of this ‘Aligners Sun&Fun 3’ began, held in Mallorca from April 3 to 6. It is, quite possibly, the most unconventional event in the world of invisible orthodontics—and one of the most in demand today. Its purpose is clear: to connect professionals and enjoy the learning process.
Smart Aligner Services regularly organizes two in-person events each year: its “Sun&Fun” (which next year will take place in Valencia) and the SAS Meeting (in Madrid). This Spanish company specializes in training in aligner-based orthodontics and has a team of international mentors: experienced orthodontists, several of whom are official speakers for the world’s leading aligner brands. From day one, attendees followed an intense agenda filled with cutting-edge content reflecting the most advanced aspects of modern orthodontics.
A solid, perfectly structured clinical program covered everything from advanced biomechanics and strategies with aligners and TADs to hands-on workshops, live case reviews, and discussion panels.
The event began with an exclusive VIP workshop by Dr. Luis González on the clinical use of mini-tubes, followed by outstanding presentations from Drs. Javier Lozano, Udo Windsheimer, Pablo Lirio, and Martín Pedernera. In the following days, presentations by Dr. Susana Palma, Dr. Victor Guerrero, Dr. Juan Carlos Pérez Varela, Dr. Alessandro Greco, and Dr. Benedict Wilmes stood out.
