Italian artisanal gelato: PNP group has acquired Gel.Bi

MILAN - Oct. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- The transaction, with CDI Global Italy as financial advisor to Gel.Bi., allows for the development of important synergies in the Italian and European market of bases and semi-finished products for ice cream, thanks to the union of two important companies in the sector.

PNP di Peluso Srl, an Italian company founded in 1990 in Riva del Garda (TN), leader in the production and distribution of bases and semi-finished products for Italian artisanal ice cream, has acquired 100% of Gel.Bi. Srl, an Italian company from Sandigliano (BI) that has been active in the production and distribution of bases and semi-finished products for Italian artisanal ice cream for over 30 years.

The founding members of Gel.Bi., assisted by CDI Global Italy as financial advisor, have decided to sell the company to a solid industrial partner that allows the company to continue the path of consolidation and commercial growth undertaken in recent years both in Italy and abroad and to exploit production and commercial synergies.
