Clapper, a growing platform for content creators and small businesses, has announced the release of a new shop feature. The exciting announcement will pave the way for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists on the Clapper platform to list products for sale to their communities while encouraging members to discover new creators and support local economies.

The Clapper shop is expected to become a valuable e-commerce marketplace for nearly all types of tangible goods and services, including new and used household items, handmade and vintage goods, and custom art and crafts. Clapper sellers can create product listings and feature items or services for sale using colorful photographs and detailed descriptions, which will list important information about pricing, item quantity, and product or service classification. Sellers can then engage with buyers directly to answer additional questions and coordinate shipping through direct messages.

Currently, Clapper members can begin using the new shop feature. Users can activate a shop by clicking the “Creator Space” button on their profile page and selecting “My Shop” to start managing their store and adding items. Members who do so will also find a new “Start Shop Live” button, which is part of a new form of livestreaming on the Clapper platform for sellers. For the first time, sellers will be able to promote their products or services live in real-time to their audiences around the world, and include a direct link to purchase from them directly on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
